I cannot get the client to run on Mac OS X.

This was released along with the Mac OS X leopard to get the response from the end-user about its practicality and when all positive reviews turned in, apple decided to go with the MacApp store with a tweak to the software frame and also improving the user interface between the user. Its cross-platform, Ive used it on Linux Windows and Mac OS. Filezilla Client 10.6 Mac With OS. I have an e-mac with OS X 10.4. Filezilla client 3.5.3 (intel)I have deleted an old preference file and an old .filezilla settings folder from user directory. There was a very old version that was running on this machine, circa 2009.

Running the app as an Admin user.
Manually added permissions to app and contents of app package from Get Info (have not changed any permissions using chmod from terminal console.
Ideas?
